Stream Movies From Netflix Right to Your TV

So you have a Netflix subscription. You get your movies in the mail and sometimes maybe you even watch a movie on your PC or laptop. But what if you could watch your Instant Que on your TV? Well now you can – with an internet-connected Blu-Ray player. That’s right, manufacturers like LG, Samsung and Sony have started including the Netflix application into their internet-connected Blu-Ray players.

While networkable Blu-Ray players are really nothing new (after all, they need to download information from the internet regularly to keep the software up-to-date), applications like Netflix, Blockbuster, Pandora, Rhapsody, VuDu (a High-Definition On Demand movie library) are fairly new to the Blu-Ray scene. Many players even include a wireless network connection for easy setup and no need to run wires.

Setup is generally quick and easy, and you’re typically watching movies within minutes. Netflix can stream the movies directly to your player (a small buffer is downloaded to get the movie started, then you watch the movie as the rest downloads.)

If your preference is for high-definition movies, then you’ll enjoy the offerings of VuDu, with the largest offering of 1080p HD movies available (over 2000.) Many of which also offer Dolby Digital and Hi-Def audio as well. It’s just like watching a Blu-Ray but without the disc!

Maybe you haven’t taken the leap into Blu-Ray just yet, but you do have a new HDTV? Many of these sets also offer internet connectivity and streaming media as well. It’s certainly worth looking in to.
