There was a lot of hype when the first paranormal movie came out and I will admit I was one of the people who couldn’t wait to see it. I was in fact impressed with how the first movie came out. I honestly thought this second movie wasn’t going to be that good because as we all know sequels usually are not better than the first movie.
However, I did go and see it and I was very happy that I did. Not only was it scary as hell and have a really good story it also was better than the first one. In this movie the girl who got possessed in the first movie reprise’s her role in this one. That’s right it is like a prequel instead. The family who is being haunted in this movie is the girl’s sister. They go deep into why this spirit is haunting them and also goes as far as to how it happened and why the girl from the first movie was being haunted by a demon.
There are a lot of ties to the first movie which I like because it makes for a better story. So basically, this movie is like a prequel and a sequel all in one. It was amazing how they made both of these paranormal movies basically seem like one movie with two parts. (One long movie)
I don’t want to give anymore away because I highly recommend that you get this movie when it comes out. It wouldn’t hurt to get the first one if you don’t already because that way you can watch them back to back. I give this movie an A-. Now for a horror movie that is really good because they don’t make movies the way they use to. At least as for horror movies are concern.
