One thing is for sure that after the movie releases, those who love superhero movies but are not into their comic books will surely fall in love with him and his humor. Forget Spider-man, X-men, Iron Man, Thanos, Ultron and every other superhero, Deadpool is going to be the new king of the screen.

Deadpool is an antihero of Marvel comics (I think, I’ve already told you. Oops!) with a mouth to be feared of. He is hilarious and sarcastic at the same time. Because of his talkative nature and tendency to break the fourth wall (speaking directly to audience through the camera/film/tv), he is known as “Merc with a Mouth”. He is known to defeat or force his opponents to surrender just with the power of his mouth.

He is a beloved character of marvel that is loved by everyone. Not only his humor is to be blamed here but his way of doing things (while childish). He knows how to make the best out of any bad situation and doesn’t fear anyone. He doesn’t discriminate and even impresses his enemies. Not many of us know but he loves kids and animals too.

He is disfigured and possesses superhuman ability of an accelerated healing factor which not only prevents him from getting permanently injured through enhanced cell regeneration throughout his body but his neurons are also affected by accelerated regeneration hence, causing him psychosis and making mentally unstable. Now, you know where his sarcasms come from? Also, his body is highly resistant to drugs and toxins due to his cell regeneration.
Deadpool is also an assassin, a mercenary, skilled swordsman and marksman. He also knows multiple forms of martial arts. May be that’s why he is an extremely unpredictable opponent with his own improvised fighting style!!
He carries devices that grant him teleportation and holographic disguise and a magic satchel containing all of his unlimited weaponry and ammo.
Wade Wilson – Real Face of Deadpool
It was Wade Wilson who gave himself the name “Deadpool”.
After Wade Wilson was rejected from Weapon-X program, he was sent to Hospice allegedly a govt. facility where failed superhero operatives were treated. Unknown to Canadian govt., the Hospice’s patients served as experimental subjects for Doctor Killebrew and his sadistic assistant Ajax (known then as The Attendant), with the patients placing bets in a “dead pool” as to how long each subject would live. Killebrew subjected Wilson to various torturous experiments for his own deranged satisfaction.
Due to Wilson’s thirst for vengeance with Ajax who had lobotomized Worm, the closest thing Wilson had to a friend, he shot Ajax in the chest with two automatic rifles, leaving him for dead. Taking the name Deadpool, he escaped from the Hospice with his fellow patients.
