Mr. Deeds is an ordinary man living in a small town. He has no idea of is heritage. His great uncle, Preston Blake decided to climb Mount Everest. He froze to death at the top. Now who will gain control the company and his forty billion? Of course Longfellow Deeds. The company representatives, Chuck and Cecil decide to come and pay him a visit in their helicopter. They find him working and living in a pizzeria. He also makes greeting cards on the side.
Mr. Deeds is known around town as a very kind man. He helps people cross the street and give away free pizzas. They go to New York to sign everything over to Deeds. Little does Deeds know, Chuck plans to have Mr. Deeds sign the company over to him.
Meanwhile, Pam, a reporter is about to loose her job if she doesn’t get a good story. She decides to turn into Mr. Deeds’ girlfriend to get all the information she needs.
A man named Emilio is his Butler. He loves feet. Little does he know Mr. Deeds right foot turned black because of frost bite. They spend some time jumping on the foot and stabbing it with a fire poker since he can’t feel anything in it.
That night, Pam makes her move. She has a coworker rob her as Mr. Deeds walks by. Mr. Deeds beats the robber and saves Pam. He even invites her to dinner where she tells him that she is a school nurse. Later, they go to dinner and Deeds beats some famous people for making fun of his greeting cards. Magically it ends up on the news the next morning. He also got so drunk that he didn’t remember what happened. He also found out that he went around vandalizing from the news. He does not figure out that the footage is coming from Pam’s secret camera. Will he find out that Pam is not really his girlfriend? Will Chuck succeed in gaining the company? Watch and find out.
